Art Show Benefit July 12, 2002
Yolo County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services in partnership with Yolo Community Care Continuum invite you to the annual Art Show, benefiting Yolo County Mental Health consumers. The event will take place at Art Connections, 903 3rd Street in Davis, on July 12th from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Last year many artists participated by donating original art which was auctioned, raffled or sold.
This year the Art Scholarship Fund Committee would like to include more community artists and supporters. All donations will go to the Art Scholarship Fund. The fund was established to provide needed art supplies and materials to any individual receiving services from a mental health agency in Yolo County. By encouraging the creative process individuals suffering from a chronic mental illness are more likely to maintain a higher quality of living.
For this year's Art fundraiser to be successful the Art Scholarship Fund Committee is asking for your support by donating art supplies, art material, time and/or original art. Cash donations will be deposited directly into the Art Scholarship Fund. Your donation is tax deductible. Your support will help to make this a successful event.
